Desert Escape Without the Heat in San Luis Obispo, CA
A desert escape without the heat! Newly finished project in a residential area of San Luis Obispo gave this home an updated curb appeal. The board-form concrete walls complement the accent boulders perfectly and tie the landscaping to the house with mutual a large concrete slab walkway. The synthetic grass lawn adds great color and appeals the landscape with no mowing or sprinklers needed! Drought tolerant plants help with the low maintenance appeal that the homeowners were wanting for their front yard. Cordylines, Leucadendrons, and the Loropetalums add a warmth of burgundy to contrast with the tan DG and the natural green colors from the Kangaroo Paws, Lomandra, and Asparagus ferns. All together they make a cohesive color palette with a water-conserving landscape. Both the homeowners and our team are excited to see this blossom and mature over time to increase the beautiful modern landscape appearance that welcomes guests to the home… Talk about Curb Appeal!

“Dan and Leah were fantastic to work with. The design was exactly what we asked for. They provided ideas and alternatives, working with us to create a great front yard. Dan was on site regularly to check on the work, as well as to help. The team (Miguel and Alex) were great: punctual, clean, pleasant, and hard-working (in horrible heat). We really enjoyed working with Dan, Leah, and team, and we highly recommend them. Very professional, creative and knowledgeable.”
